September 2007: Hybrid Audio Technologies Making Their Mark on the European Competition Scene

Atlanta, GA - Hybrid Audio Technologies-equipped vehicles win 4 national first places, 2 league championships, and 4 invitations to the EMMA (European Mobile Media Association) European finals in Denmark and IASCA (International Auto Sound Challenge Association) European finals in Italy, proving beyond a doubt that the Hybrid Audio Legatia™ range is not only a success in its’ home country, but also a force to be reckoned with in Europe.

At the recent IASCA UK 2007 finals at Mega-Watts in Runcorn, Cheshire, both of our competing IASCA UK members were victorious in their respective classes, bringing home 1st places on the day, and seasonal league championship wins. The battle in Street Semi Pro was long anticipated and intense; John Paul proved to the competition that it doesn’t matter how much money or time you invest in a project, Hybrid Audio and Team Hybrids competitors are here, we’re serious, and with a little persistence and hard work, are more than a worthy adversary. Not only did John win the Street Semi Pro class, he also scored the highest in the Street Division. Jaz Suman also did the company and his fellow teammates extremely proud, winning Rookie 1-1000W in his first season of competition, whilst also actively competing in EMMA UK (more on that later), helping build teammates’ cars, buying, selling and moving house!

The story was much the same at the EMMA UK finals at TRAX, Silverstone Race Circuit; the UK’s largest car show. Kevin Hall polished off his first season of competition with his 3rd event win in Experienced 3 Channel, giving him a league 2nd place overall – a fine achievement considering the competition he faced. Jaz Suman also brought home a first place event trophy and 2nd in his league against some big hitters, also in his first season of competition (and whilst trying to juggle between IASCA and EMMA rules and system setups).

“Considering this is only the 2nd season we’ve had a UK team, I’m very proud of our small but extremely capable UK arm. The results tell it like it is – these guys have worked hundreds or even thousands of hours to get their systems to where they are now, defeated money-no-object installs with cars tuned by themselves alone, and by no means is this the last you’re going to hear from Team Hybrids UK. All 3 guys were invited to their respective European finals events. Our newest team member, David Walker (IASCA UK Rookie 1001+ League Winner), will also be competing at the IASCA 2007 European finals, and we have high hopes of a Danish entry at the EMMA European finals too! Team Hybrids in Europe is going from strength to strength!” exclaimed Mark Stringer, Team Hybrids UK captain.
